Notices are optional. An email uses the address already on file. A text is sent from the crew phone after they save the visit. It is not an automatic carrier text.
Cutting season runs from May 15 through October 15. Outside those dates, a day is not shown as scheduled. A visit the crew recorded still appears in the recent list.
